Help.... chugging etc.
Ok. 1998 F150 xlt with the 4.6L.
So I was getting a lot of engine stutter/misfire. Pulled codes it said misfire on cylinder 7.
Replaced wire and plug, no change.
Replaced coil pack, no change.
Replaced injector, still chugging under medium acceleration but no misfire code now.
No other codes or pending codes are showing up on my reader.
I did record some live data but have no clue how to interpret the numbers.

I have had the same problem with a 2006 with 4.6 motor.. changed coil 2-3 times. fixes it for a couple weeks...... recently I have narrowed it down to the coil wire that has a harsh BEND around the PCV valve hose........ seems that when I bend it one way or the other, it will fire or miss........... just something to consider --- bad wires.

I will keep posted about what I get figured out.
