Anyone have a 5th wheel equipped dually they are willing to rent?

A friend of mine has had the aftermarket transmission in his 6.0 go out and he desperately needs to get a 5th wheel trailer from Jordan back to Eden Prairie.

If any of you have a suitable truck you are willing to let him use (I'm sure he will be happy to pay a fee), please PM me and I will give you his name and phone number.

Thanks.

Wish I could help you out Leonard but mine isn't a dually and no 5th wheel hitch.

Why does it need to be a dually? It might make it easier to find someone if you could use a SRW pickup as well. How big is the trailer?

Thanks guys. This friend of mine insists on a dually. He's pulling a 40+ft race hauler.

Gotcha! He could get by with a SRW for that trailer for that little distance he has to go but he needs to do what he feels comfortable with.

Unless he changed his mind you are short a couple wheels but your truck could certainly pull it just fine especially with those new head gaskets! Haha

Oops, apologies for not updating this thread. He eventually rented a Jeep Liberty, put a factory transmission in the back of the Jeep, drove out there and replaced the transmission, and now has his truck and trailer back at his shop. Thanks for the help guys!

In other news, my own transmission has now blown twice in 2 weeks.

The first time because the transmission was over 4 years old and I got on the loud pedal pretty hard.

The second time because the Ford factory reman was missing a spring on one of the valves and that caused a clutch pack to burn up *sigh*
