Hello everyone! I have a 1984 F150 and I plan on getting a 95 F350 7.3. I'm going to put my 84 body (not the cab) on the 95. Not using my 84 can because it is rusted out. My question is if I want to use the interior of my 84 cab and put it in the 95 can so it still retains the 80-86 look. Was wondering if anyone know what kind of problem I might run into( electrical and mounting wise) if anyone has done it before or knows someone that has done it
I'm pretty sure everything after '87 is all new sheet metal, so I don't think the '84 front clip will bolt onto the '95 cab. You would also have no where to mount things under the hood. The bed will bolt on, but I think some of the body lines are different/won't match. As for the interior, I'm sure it could be done. You would have to keep the original speedo, because it's used by other systems.
Honestly it would be cheaper, faster, and easier to find a donor '80s body.

Pretty much none of the 84 interior will directly go into the 95 cab. You would be making all new brackets and such
Then the speedometer. 91 and older are cable driven. 92+ are electrically driven
