Hello All,
Been a bit since I've been here. The 83stick was 2 trucks ago...
Anyway, we just recently purchased a 2003 F250 super duty with the 7.3 turbo. <-- I'll need help with that later, but the pressing issue is the leaking break calipers.
So the calipers are leaking, is that a known issue, is it something to be overly concerned with. I mean more than just getting new calipers?
If I just get new calipers bleed the system should all be well??
Just looking to see if I need to pay attention to any extras before I get started on that job. Thanks for any helpful hints.
I would replace the calipers, just make sure you don't run the fluid out in the master cylinder or you will probably have to do a service bleed to get the air out of the ABS solenoids and that requires a scanner like Fords IDS or Autoenginuity or similar. Most code reader/scanners can't do it.
