E. Brake Question

E. Brake Question
I am in the middle of overhauling my complete brake system .That said I bought new R&L (parking brake) cables , low and behold they didn't come with the tension/return springs at the ends that holds the arm at the rear shoe. Has anyone ever had this happen ?


Called the part store and was informed that the other ones that they had on the shelf were the same way NO SPRINGs

I really need help on this one. I am sure as heck stumped. . Went to the dealer today to get a new one and it didn't have a spring either.


With no spring what can I do to keep it on the lever ?

maybe visit the local hardware store and look at the box of generic springs.... might be something close.

I ended up getting a good used one from a guy that has one that's he's about to junk.
