'51 Ford tire jack

I have recently purchased a restored 1951 F-1. The tire jack is located behind the seat on the passenger side of the cab beside the fuel tank. The wheel wrench and jack handle were loose under the seat. Does anyone have photos of where they are stored on the truck? My owners manual and shop manual don't show them.

Does your truck have the tool box on top of the fuel tank? All of the tools that came with the truck from the factory would be in a canvas and seat cover material pouch and stored in the tool box above the fuel tank.

Thanks, I'll have to find a canvas to put them in. Yours are different, maybe due to being a larger F-4.

The canvas pouch I have may be larger than one for an F1, I'm not sure. The pouch is made from white canvas and the flap is the brown seat cover material.
Jules, I will try to get a photo of the tool box tomorrow.

There are a couple pics of tool boxes in this thread along with breathless dialog on round and square end sightings in the wild. Enjoy: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...fuel-tank.html

Pretty cool stuff, I forgot this thread was about a 51 and was wondering how there would be a toolbox above the gas tank on my 55.
