Hello everyone, I just bought my 2001 Excursion v10 4x4 83,000 miles. I have already found a lot of great info on this site and will be using it a lot. Need to fix two lock actuators and replace one window motor. I already made some purchases after a week of owning and am waiting for a lot of it to show up. I bought the missing wheel caps, and some Wet Okole seat covers to cover the front and middle worn leather seats. I'm going to update the radio pretty soon and also have on the way amp steps. I purchased it out of state and of course the catalytic converter didn't have the EO number stamped on it so it failed smog due to this and the K&N missing its CARB sticker. Currently I am waiting for a CA Cat to show up so I can drive. I bought my Excursion as I just sold my 2006 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD because I had an Extended Cab and have a 21 month old son and two more boys coming any minute... The extended cab would have been too hard to load the kids so I always liked the Excursion and thought it would be perfect for the family. Hope to talk to a lot of you on here in the near future, thanks, Aaron.
Thank you, pretty exciting time for us. I was sad to see my Silverado go but happy when I brought the Excursion home. I'm not sure if my wife is as happy as she is on bed rest and hasn't seen it but it does fit more kids
Welcome to the EX family and forum!
Congrats on the soon to be family additions too!
Even though I'm on the other coast, it's always good to see a new face join in here.
Thank you all, I don't know if the site is a good thing or bad thing for me as I thought I only wanted to make a couple small changes to my EX and this site just opened up a new world for me.. so many cool things can be done to them
