Need some mod input PLEASE!

Hi Guys,

I recently purchased a new to me 2014 CCSB 6.7L red f250. I have never been able to keep things stock long so I have a small list of initial mods I would like to do. I want to get feedback and recommendations from other knowledgable truck owners about the mods below as well as other inexpensive mods you may know that I haven't listed.

Things I want to do to the truck

- small lift/wheels/tires. I'm thinking the 3in rough country suspension lift with 20x10 or 20x12 wrapped with 35x12.50s. Anyone have this lift or recommend another one?

- spray in bed liner

- inner fender well covers( what brand is best and where to buy)

- switch out black grill for chrome

- switch out factory CD player for touch screen with back up camera.. Has anyone done this? If so what did you go with and where did you find the dash kit?

- anyone think of any other inexpensive mods I should look at?

-Lastly I may look at programmer, intake, exhaust... Anyone who has done this, what brand did you use and were you happy with the results.. I like the idea of a full delete plus the exhaust sound and power pick up will be nice..

Thanks for any and all advise!

Husky and ford have fender wells that people are happy with, husky mud flaps are good, floor mats too.

Grill might be a lot of money, might be worth it to look at other options with what you have or other grills to buy, I've never understood how companies manage to get what they charge for grills and inserts.

Crutchfield is a good website to do research on in dash radios, search there for what you want, then shop around for pricing.

My additions to my truck are listed below, my favorites are the air system/horns, window tint, fuel tank, bedrug, Polk speakers, bed lights, footwell lights.

Welcome to FTE...

Why not try a junk yard, ebay, etc... for a replacement chrome grill?

I am happy with my Ford wheel well liners. I've never had husky though. Only their floor mats.

If you want the stock radio and stock backup camera - you are probably going to need access to IDS to reprogram the truck computers to recognize it. I don't know this 100% to be true, but something to look out for.

I don't do lifts and bigger tires so I'm no help there. Last programmer I put on a truck had a 6.0 in it. I don't see it as worth it for the money to get a programmer, delete pipe, and run the risk of no warranty. People that do, don't bother me either.

I do plan to add an LED Bar on the front if I can get around to doing it. Winter's are very dark up here and roads are steep, twisty, and not lit.

Gah, I forgot about the light bar. The 20" spot/flood combo fits great where the front license plate is supposed to be. The $35 one I got off amazon has held up almost a year now, so, more expensive ones while nice aren't a necessity.

I did the roll on bed liner from Autozone. I don't remember which brand but its the one with Kevlar. Took less than one afternoon and I have some left to touch up when it gets knocked off. The only thing I wish is that I sanded a little more. I used my orbital sander and missed some spots. It doesn't stick to the factory paint very well. Oh well I just touch it up if it scratches off since I have some left in the can. I would do it again to save that $400-$500. Besides that, buy the Torque Pro app so you can monitor if you want. Auxillary fuel tank if you tow. I do need some mud flaps on the rear because my 5th wheel is taking a beating.
