1978 Dash install - need help!

1978 Dash install - need help!
I disassembled the interior but didn't take pictures or document anything. I lied to myself that I'd remember!!

So I need to know where this extra part goes!



Also this is what the dash looks like right now.

That pieces doesn't go anywhere under the dash. its actually a support for the grill on top of the latch.
