70mph! I don't know, I must be a chicken, but I don't really go faster than 65 pulling my 30" TT.

I am around 10mpg most of the time.

First YOU HAVE NO MILES on your truck.. and its a 4x4....

I average 9.5 to 10...... 2 wheel drive.... and 140,000 miles...
with a trailer at 11 foot high... plus AC above... and trailer loaded over 9,000 pounds.. total rolling is right at 17,000 pounds.

I do NOT tow over 60... kills the gas mileage.

the truck is an aerodynamic brick and the trailer is worse.

Your mpg is about right for your speed. I get 5.5-6.5 towing a travel trailer at 70 with my Ecoboost. If I slow down to 60 it jumps up to 8.5-9.5 mpg.

Man 6 mpg seems awful low to me but I am in the flat lands of south Texas. Another vote for slowing down to get better mpg. I lock out 6th gear and on most loads my truck comfy at 65. That said I just did a fast trip to NM last weekend hauling a crew cab on my G/N. Loaded both ways and keeping speeds near 80 and more on I-10 I was getting 8 and change. Keeping it at 65 gets me to 10 mpg on average and as said, wind plays a big factor.

Truck has 8500 miles. Empty on highway I get 11.5 mpg with winter gas and 12.5 mpg with summer gas. All numbers are calculated by hand.

I contacted my dealer. His response was since there are no service bulletins on it, there is nothing he can do. Anyone have any suggestions?
I have 3800 miles on 2016 CC 6.2l I average 11.9 empty I just towed my camper dry weight #4750 and got 7.7mpg @70mph and on return trip @65 I got 8.0mpg

Do you have 3.73 gears?

I get 10.5 to 11 empty (daily driver) and it drops to 8-8.5 towing (13,000#)
Yes it does have 4.30, I wish it was better but I am happy with it

Arrow lousy gasoline

Run a tank of ethanol free gas thru it and see what you get.

Super nice setup, and those towing figures are very good in my opinion.

Maybe check some of the silly simple things...Make sure the wheels on truck and trailer all spin freely. Check the air filter for a mouse nest...I've seen them even in daily drivers.

For comparison, my '65 F250 with a 390 always got 7.5mpg at 70mph towing a 10K lb 5th wheel...32 ft long and 11ft high. I usually kept it around 62mph and I got 8mpg. The truck got 12 mph running around empty. I'd hope a new truck grossing less would at least get equal mpg.

That sounds extremely low at 6mpg. Im anywhere between 7.5 & 9 while towing my trailer which is 33ft and a little over 8000lbs.. Mind you i have 22x12 wheels on 33's. Only diffrence I have mine tunned but I dont think it will make that diffrence.

Mine driven hard by employees do way better than 6mpg towing a 13k pound trailer in mountainous BC.
You have something wrong or are towing into a head wind or something.
