Proper technique to remove upper side trim?
So I've installed all the body upper side mouldings on my 68. Looks pretty nice. On the ds fender piece I got down to tightening the last bolt and the damn stud is just pinning in the clip. Now I need to remove the piece but what is the proper method for getting it off the plastic clips? It snapped on real nice. I've tried carefully prying with a small prybar covered in masking tape but the plastic clip just bends and doesn't let go.
