I bought a cheap remote starter switch and am wondering what I am supposed to connect the positive and negative clips onto. Ive never used one before and the one didnt come with instructions.

Remote Starter Switch

If it has a remote mounted starter relay on the fender well or firewall you can just connect each lead to one of the two large posts on the relay. If it doesnt have the relay you can connect to the small "S" terminal of the starter and the positive battery cable. If you are just bumping the engine over leave the key off so it wont start the engine. Always use safety using a remote starter, like ensuring the transmission is in neutral, using chock block on the wheels, park brake set. Many techs have been injured or killed by starting an engine remotely when in gear.
