C6 transmissions have a 31-spline output shaft.
Check if the same rear U-joint (part number) is used in both trucks.
Measure the length of the driveshaft, centerlines the U-joint caps.
If you have access to the 77, measure the location of the transmission crossmember and verify that it is in the same position as your 73.
