Engine swap
I hate to be this way, but your post is not easily readable. If you want answers, you need to use punctuation, sentences, the usual readable English stuff.
OK, let's try this again in slow motion.
Your 2003 is wrecked, but has a good 2.3 motor.
Your '97 is ok, but needs a motor, and was originally a 3.0.
Right?
To swap, you need the entire wiring harness with computer and everything attached to it concerning the engine and gauges, ignition, etc. The motor mounts, transmission, maybe a cross member, maybe drive shaft work too.
Your '97 may be OBD II, your '03 certainly is. However, running changes are made in OBD II, so '03 may be more complicated than the '97.
FWIW, I would just horse trade the 2.3 for a good 3.0.
