Truck won't start. Says check brake system, trailer brake module fault.

Is it an integrated brake controller? if not, see if you can unplug it. If it is, check your fuses. I'm not a mechanic and have no experience with this issue...just trying to help out. If it was here at work, our i.t. department would say unplug it for five minutes, so maybe try clearing it by disconnecting the battery for five minutes.
