CJ Valve Source

Hey Gang,

Got a 390 going to a 445 stroker.

Going with stock heads but want to use the CJ 2.09 and 1.65 valves.

Summit list a 2.09 intake for the 390FE but for the exhaust they show
1.660
1.558
1.555

Not sure which one I should choose or should I be looking at different vendor?

Go with the 1.66. You're talking +.010" (.005" per side). If that's too much, you can always chuck it in a valve machine and cut it down but I don't think it will make that much difference.

Call this fella about CJ valves.

He used to carry the cheapest SS CJ valves. Lotsa folks I knew were using them in high performance vehicles with no ill effects.
