Got a 50' f-1 with the v-8 3sp on floor, not restored in any way but no rust (tx truck) and everything works. I drive it from time to time its registered and insured. It is worn out. Pops out of 2nd gear. I did replace a few parts and have several more purchased (turn signal kit, king pins, rubber molding, etc) but kind of lost interest and thinking about selling it. Any idea what its worth? I've got some pics but no time to post until tonight. Appreciate any thoughts. Clear tx title and I assume #s match but I'd have to verify that.
Thanx in advance. Also apologize if this is in the wrong section, if so plz move it.

I don't think there's anything wrong with asking what it's worth here.
But if you want answers, you're going to have to post the pics. We'll be looking forward to them. Also, where is the truck now? Is it in Texas?
yes I'm between san antonio and Austin. I'm going to try and upload the pics, they're on my phone so I'm going to try logging in on it. This could take a bit as I'm a dolt on these things sometimes haha
I looked for a good Effie for almost 6 straight months before I found mine. I'm sharing the following just for anecdotal purposes, so take from it what you will.
Before I started my search, I checked with the Hagerty website just to get an idea of where the "serious" market was for these trucks. I didn't take the info as the bible truth, but it gave me a ballpark idea of where to start.
That being said, I looked at a good number of local trucks, from clapped out beaters to solid drivers. If you take away the high end - trucks that were either restored or modified to beyond my price point, and the guys who wanted $10k for a rusted hulk because "these trucks are worth $65,000 restored!" - then I think the Hagerty prices are roughly in line for my neck of the woods. YMMV. Of course, I paid more than the average fair value for mine, but I can live with that.
I think your truck might push $8k in some areas of the country, like the Northeast, and less in places where rust is not an issue.
Hey Pookie,
If it runs, drives well, & stops .... I paid $6500 in Austin for a
barely driving '50 F1 several years back. Getting people to run
all the way out to Canyon Lake for a truck might need to be less.
I found out that when taking pictures with your phone, you hold it lengthwise horizontally. That is the way most websites publish posted photos unless they have photo rotation software which most don't.
