Hey, my backup camera has decided to act up. The display on my screen looks like an old tv out of adjustment on the "horiz adjust" ****. The picture is moved up so that the bottom of the view in centered on the screen, it flashes and flickers. I can see what's behind me, so there is signal, it's just going bananas.
Anyone here ever troubleshoot one of these things?
I had to have mine replaced because oof it being so blurry you couldn't make anything out that was behind you. Ford does have a new camera of a better design to stop it from getting water in it. I have the new one as I had to wait a month for them to become available. You have to break the tailgate Ford emblem to get to the camera. The emblem has to be replaced when they are messed with..
Monty, since he has a 2015 he should have the updated camera...
I would check connections too, sounds like it isn't getting a good connection. And if it didn't fix it, bring it in.
From what they told me was that all until Feb of this year has the same camera. That's why it took over a month to get me one as they recalled all of the ones on the shelves and waited for the new ones to be delivered. Who knows? I do like my new one better than either of my last ones. MUCH clearer.
"I wanted to keep the truck but the backup camera wore out, the only positive/certain way to fix it was to trade the beast in".

Very funny.....
It is tempting. My truck has 94k on it right now and I've never had to get anything repaired. It's the first 6.7 that has held the radiator and water pump beyond 50k for me!
Also, the interior color, long bed, 3.55 plus the fifth wheel/GN built in makes this truck the most enjoyable one I've had and I kind of think I may run it a few years.
But, I could order a new 17 truck, and buy my current one from our business and keep it for myself. This is what keeps me up at night, lol....
The three members of FTE that need to own a 2017 are Joel, Epic, and Big-Sarge. The videos, tips, and their participation back in 2011/2012 was very helpful to me. Few members here didn't lean on these guys for help at some point.
In the Diffusion of innovations, they are the FTE Innovators and we need them to Innovate again with the 2017 model.
