cruiseomatic kick down question
mornin all, I just swapped out holley 4bbl on my fe and put on a new quick fuel 650, the linkage for the ford kick down is different. So my question is does the kick down rod have to be hooked up? I'm fine with downshifting it manually, i just didn't know if it had to be hooked up for normal operation of the tranny.
