Best chamois
After years of streaks and frustration and spending I would say hundreds on different types of chamois that promise no streaks I picked up for 8 bucks mcquires waffle rag!! Best purchase for cleaning you will ever make did whole truck and half of wife's car before even needed to be wrung out and not 1 streak!!

Thanks Lar! I bought a bunch of those microfiber rags at Costco that seem to be good, but think I'll get one of these waffle rag things to use on my new...Platinum!

I've been using an Absorber brand chamois for about 20 years now and it has worked very good for me.

I use the waffle weave to dry and the thick borderless micro-fiber to polish / wax removal.


Another good product to use while drying is Adam's H20 Guard and Gloss, works great!

I use an ultra soft automotive blade to squeegee the water off then chamios what's left. No marks in the paint at all.

I'd never heard of a waffle rag; so I googled it. Sheesh, there are like 5 or 6 different brands that all claim to be the "best".

AFAICT, Maguiar's is also among the lowest priced.
