As mentioned earlier you have 3.73s and a limited slip rear. Front is a Dana 60 rear is a Ford 10.5. My memory may not be 100% but the front should take 80w/90 and the rear 85w/140.
Yeah I have same year truck as you...I changed mine a year and a half ago...at roughly 180,000 kms...I didn;t buy the whole don't change unless in water idea.....I used royal Purple in both....75w-140 synthetic in rear and 80w-90 synthetic in front. The 75w140 comes with limited slip additive already in it....and after i put it in i noticed my limited slip actually functioned better then it ever did before...I think Ford put to much additive in from the factory.
sxrfun, I only have 91k miles on the truck. no problems at except the front brake caliper sticking, re-built the entire system with good parts. I like to take care of it so no future problems.
