its an aftermarket radio, was working fine untill we put a new face plate/trim on. and now we are getting nothing through the speakers. it powers on and you can see its picking up the station but for the life of me i cant find anything wrong. all wires are connected.
Not sure if your radio is a volume/power combo or separate power button but (in all seriousness) if the latter, is the volume up?
Could the audio settings like treble/bass have gotten hit so that it's putting out 0 for everything?
How is the speaker wired in? Would it be easy to pull the unit and wire in a spare speaker for testing?
it must of blew up. cuase i have dont everything. and still havent got any sound
Aftermarket 4 channel stereo/radios are pretty cheap to come by. Shouldn't be too hard install an economical replacement. Two things to consider: solid Positive power source and solid Ground connections at the head unit.
