Steering gearbox question
Okay I got the gear box out. How much do they weigh?
Also, I figured out something that's probably been done a few thousand times already.
I have a two armed puller that I couldn't keep grabbing the pitman arm with. I would2[= tighten the " screw" and it would pop off. So I took a hose clamp and fitted it over the " shoulders" of the puller arms and tightened it, then I tightened screw on the puller. So I did this a couple of iterations and then started slowly screwing in the puller screw. POP!!! Friggin A, those are the moments you live or when you do this stuff. Fun man!

I think most of us know that "POP" sound very well. Then the excitement level, YES, I GOT YOU!!!!! The last time I did that, my wife poked her head outside and asked, "Who are you talking to"? I told her "the bearing I just pulled off". Of course, she shook her head and went back inside. (They don't understand.)
