Steering box leak

If steering box leaks and a new one is installed what would cause it to leak? My fathers was leaking and they put in a brand new one and same thing happened. Any ideas?

New box, new lines, new fluid....

I'd say it was a bad box and have it warranteed. But that's just a guess based on the limited info.

When I put the dye in it and used the black light it seems like it was leaking out of the seal on the back of the box toward the firewall.

Unless the truck has suffered some trauma (like having a steering stop torn off) and the box was allowed to over-extend, I believe Stewart's idea has merit.
