I like that red F1 best. Do you know who owns that one?

Why do guys with brand new cars put them in shows like that? If I wanted to see one, I'd go to the dealer, and he'll even let me drive one.

I agree totally. Can you imagine buying a new car, putting some bling on it and taking it to a show with vehicles that the owners have spent as much money on as your new one that you drove off the lot?

It's "Hey, look what I can afford!"

The few shows that I have gone to where this was the case were weird. The owner's were either trust fund babies or seemed to be compensating for personal equipment size issues, IMHO. Also, they were completely unimpressed with a stock F1. I didn't go back.

I went to a small local show , and the judges gave all the prizes to new { less than 10 years old ]cars and trucks , that had very little mods , There where some very nice , well built 50s - 70s that got nothing ,That's when I stopped showing or going to shows .

Heah maybe I should buy one of those pine tree air fresheners that hang off the rear view mirror and enter my wife's 2003 Camry in that car show. It also has a blanket in the back seat for our 150lb dog, that's custom right, Ha,Ha!
