New injectors

Well yesterday my baby girl let me down. #7 decided it wanted to go out on me. Called Warren Diesel 2-2 1/2 weeks to get a set of 155/stock's (kinda sad that's it's gonna be down so long but completely understandable).

What am i in for when i go to replace them i read the tech folder but it still looks mighty tight on the passenger side. Any tips yall might have would be awesome.

On a side note already like them at Warren. When i called i had a couple of questions and the nice lady i was talking to knew and answered every question i had no problem. Really rare to find that kind of customer service anymore!!

Remove the heater core cover it can be done without to big a deal, Make sure you have a 2 inch torx socket for the injectors otherwise you risk damaging the solenoid. Make sure you clean out the hold down bolt hole really good so you get proper torque, I use compressed air. As for injectors I use the Motorcraft remans they have a 2 year warranty and I have never had one go bad yet and you can get a full set for $1600.00 shipped.

I have a 2006 F250 Lariat CC 4WD I didn't have to remove heater core and no problems. Was really a lot easier than I was expecting. Tourqe settings I read 26 & 28 so I did 27. Two valve cover bolts on passenger side next to heater core were a little tight. Used a gear wrench flex head.

Correct....

6.0 injectors are ridiculously easy to do compared to 7.3 injectors.

While you have the truck apart, it would behoove you to do the dummy plugs and stand pipes if you haven't already. If they've been done already, they are reusable, just soak the seal in oil and slowly drive them back in.

Not from the conversation I just had with them. Either the guy didn't have the waiting list or my name never got put down on it. Cause he asked for my info an said that it's a 3 week wait an said someone would call.
