Not sure who to blame for this, Rodney, Roy, or Monty, but ordered the LP tank gauges today from Amazon, along with the LP Tank Boots from eBay... Should be here by this weekend.

Roy was the culprit on this one, but as usual Rodney and I followed along. I still haven't installed mine. Hopefully Thursday before the lake this weekend.

Curious thought on the tank senders. They use ultrasonic to measure the tank level. For those that have them do you have access to the top of a holding tank to see if they will work on those? Depends I guess if the app allows a custom tank that lets you give it empty and full levels.

They stick on the bottom of the tanks with magnets. The app can let you choose between 20 and 30 pound tanks. Rodney says that the monitor couldn't distinguish between the two tank sizes. He said they were really accurate.

I am finding that the accuracy is great......

The little "feet" that raise the tank off of the platform are the most stupid design.....

Let be know how the Rubber Rings work........

They work great Roy. Fit snug and won't fall off when the tank is removed or put back in. Absolutely worth the $1 each...

Looking at the docs it shows they can work with an arbitrary tank size where you specify the height of the space that the LPG sits in. I'm looking for a way to measure my plastic tanks, 1/4-1/2-F is useless. I know they exist but I'd rather reinvent the wheel

I think he wants them delivered to him while he's there Dave and eBay only ships to your address associated with your account.

Speaking of the LP system, whoever gets it, plan on getting the free app for your phone too. On the phone app you can set your tank size. On the basic monitor that comes with it that you mount in the RV, you can't. So, while my phone app is very accurate showing my tank that's currently being used at 79%, the monitor reads 100% on both because it likely is reading them as 20lb gas grill size tanks. I see no way to change the monitor setting for size like you can in the app.

Good to know Rodney. Obviously, getting the free app is the way to go, but even if you can't adjust the fixed display unit, if it's preset for 20# tanks and you have 30 pounders, you can still see when it starts to get low or you need to be keeping an eye on it, right? And yes, I ordered them today.....cha-ching!
