Slippery Slope - Cardinal 3850RL 5th wheel

I don't think I'd bother if it was me. We usually don't use our back up cam. Too many variables and you still really need a spotter. That said, if you do get one, you can wire it a few different ways. Mine was wires as constantly on but I added a toggle switch so I could shut it off when not in use. I may change it and tie into the back up light circuit. You can also tie it into the parking lamp circuit which would be the easiest for a retrofit as you can just tap one of your marker lights which would be directly under the camera location anyway. Then when the marker lights are on, the camera has power. On the head unit you can just toggle between the camera and NAV as needed. Very easy.

Rodney, Better be careful...if you wander into Michigan, and see the sandy beaches of Lake Michigan, you may never want to leave! We are straight north of Goshen/South Bend, in Grand Rapids. We'll be further north of that when you are coming through in the northern lower peninsula.

I won't have a ton of time to tour. Driving to the plant on Tuesday. Sleep in the rig Tuesday night. Wed morning they crank it up about 4:45 so it should be an early start. Thursday they should be done and I drive to Chicago Northwest KOA and set up. Pick up the girls at Midway Friday. Camp for a day and head to Dells Sunday. Then all hell should break loose...
