I too would not mind the update looks, but am turned off by cutting, does anyone know where I can get the clear lamps for the 04 style? Good quality ones?

Yup, that's my favorite too. The newer lights with the 'character' of the older bumper.

The cutting is certainly nothing to be scared of; it's easy, and totally hidden. Lots of room to mess up and it's STILL hidden!

The performance of the stock 05-07 reflector/bulb combination is a BUNCH better than the earlier style. My 03s are perfect, no scratches or clouding; but OEM newer ones are way better light output. Compared back to back!

That is a nice offer, thank you. I would have taken you up on that offer if not for JetDoc being a little closer. I appreciate it.

Both, the main reason though is my '03 stock lights are beginning to yellow at the top and I ran across a good deal on a set of '05-07's. I have always liked the look of them over the '02-'04's.

Jetdoc, where did you get that gill with that emblem in the center? I really like that. If I could get that gill I would change mine out with those lights also. Mine is a 1999 also.

That is a billet aluminum one. They used to sell those on ebay, not sure if they still do or not.

Jason thank you, I sure like the way his shines, looks like it shines better. It could be just the picture but billet you can shine and shine. The emblem also stands out better then the picture I looked at. Are you going to change your grill to? There a post in the 6.0l now on these head lights. Seem a guy has a friend that makes these with LED lights, he posted
pictures at day and night.

I may at some point. I already have an older aftermarket grille with an International emblem in the center. It's how a lot of my friends recognize me in their rear view, lol. Here is a pic of it. I have the plow hook-ups still poking through, need to put them behind it for the season. Notice the yellowing of my OEM headlights.

I forgot about that Jason. You could try some Off insect spray to get that yellow off. I know some buddy's that used that then polished the lens, looked pretty good. Still need more light. With my eyes i'm not sure what way I'm going. I like the harness and bulbs but if I could get that billet grill, reasonable, and lights, I really like that.

My headlights were very yellow- tried to clean and polish w no luck. Ended up w replacements from 1aauto for 70$ And upgraded the bulbs. Pretty happy with it. My bumper hides the look of the lights so the 05's didn't matter too much to me

What bulbs did you go with? Do you like the difference compared to OE?

One more vote for the 05-07 upgrade. I replaced my '02 style, and much better clearer pattern. I installed PIAA "Night Tech" bulbs when I did it, so never compared with the stock ones. There is some cutting, did with a Dremel. Wear a dust mask, and plan on 'glass dust everywhere. But about 2 hours later very pleased. Not sure what instructions Clay provides, but if they are Woodinthings they are great. I got my lights off ebay, came with the adapter harness.
