Fuel milage issues

My 1999 250 super duty was getting about 400 miles to a tank. Then my truck started acting funny every time I key up my cb and now my fuel milage sucks. I also just replaced the electric fuel pump last week.
Any suggestions!?!? It's a 7.3 diesel
