X3 for Tractor Supply Rotella ELC

 

After reading this thread yesterday while I was down on the farm I took pictures of the new and old Rotella ELC bottles. You can see by the bar code they are still the same product although these two bottles are from 7 years apart. My mixing jug is the older one.

 

Peak Final Charge is another good one. I think someone already mentioned it, but here's another vote for it.

 

I was going to the Cat dealership and getting CAT ELC but the dealer is out of the way and the hours they are open are not easy for me. I recently switched to Zerex ELC which I was able to order on Amazon Prime. Here is the link to the concentrate for $15 - much less than the CAT ELC concentrate.

 

If you decide to use the CAT coolant, call ahead and make sure they are stocking the concentrate. My nearest dealer (30 miles away) only stocks the premix saying it's the only thing they use. I had to have them order it and make a second trip to pick it up. I understand that's pretty common.

 

Thanks for the link - reps given. I keep forgetting to check Amazon for common stuff. I just ordered T6 from them and it took a similar reminder on FTE to even go check there (getting old sucks...)

 

I never used to think about Amazon either but they have a lot of good stuff for our trucks now. And the reviews really help. I just replaced my radiator and amazon suggested a tool for the transmission lines. I thought I already had one since I have a full set of fuel disconnector tools. The first review said - you don't think you need this, but you do! - He was right. Anyway - glad to help!

I think it's crazy how it's on prime with the free shipping and all, b/c that box wasn't light!
