Sucks living in the rust belt, over here they go to the scrap with zero rust and good bodys, but no one really care for the OBS's in my area, that why I get to have lots of good stuff laying around, thats why the Mule is a multi colored beast.

We need to work a deal where you gather up all those rust free OBS trucks and parts, and I come pick them up and haul them back here and sell them!

Yessir. Unfortunately there's just not a lot left to save. Before the mare became mine, I knew it would take a core support, fenders, doors, bed and frame. Now I get a dually to boot.

I wouldn't say it sucks living here. Lol. Just hard on vehicles.

I've been wanting to do this for some time. Especially with what some of these guys find in clean trucks under 10k.

Give a list of parts yall need and I should see what I can dig up at the junk yard, the radiator core suport will be more difficult as diesels are still out on the street but there should be a couple.

The mare has some rust on the core support but not to bad I don't think, if I remember correctly. Anyway, I feel like some others have said Todd, I hate to see red tore apart but I'm sure you'll use everything possible down to the last non rusted bolt, lol.

The mare core support does indeed have rust. It's not nearly as bad as what you see from red, but needs addressed none the less. It's already been shipped off to the Dr.

You are also correct in that everything that's useable will be used or stored for parts.

Hopefully I can get back at it tonight.

Lookin good Todd! She's gonna be awesome when she's done.

What's this rust thing you guys keep talking about? I'm not familiar with it..

Just because I'm mean I checked craigslist real quick. At least 5 no rust western OBS trucks within a 20 minute drive of me for less than $7501...

Yeah yeah yeah. Thanks Rick!

Front end is demoed. Lots of rot and seized bolts. Had to start cutting. Notice the amount of scale on the ground. Nasty.

Motor, trans and t case are out of red and red is out of the shop. We were able to pull the ZF and motor as one. It was really tight. I don't know if you'd be able to pull them together with just an engine hoist. We used the skid steer and with a little persuasion it came out.
