Has anyone installed three point seatbelts. Most of the suppliers seem to offer only lap belts or a racing harness. I don't want anyone hitting the dash wearing only a lap belt. What do I need to do to get a strong connection at the third point and does anyone offer them for our f series trucks?
The Humvee worked very well in my Studebaker bench seats. Ordered 2 sets (you get 2 belts in each set) so can use for front seat and rear seat. Working on best way to install the rears.
Thanks for the great info. I ordered the plates form Classic Haulers.
Do the Humvee seat belts work with the original bench seat?
should work fine if you can get the release to fit up through the seat... most newer seats have a trimmed out slot for the 'receiving' end. I'm using buckets so I've got no problem... be sure and reinforce the mounting points under the cab with some plate... just a bolt and washer would pull through with a heavy impact..
Does it say anywhere that they are made in the states. Lately with all the safety issues I don't want to scrimp on safety products. The p.o. on my truck welded in the the bracket for the shoulder belt and I am getting ready to get some belts.

I ordered mine from them as well. They are well made, sturdy and should work well for you. A friend welded mine in as I didn't have a welder at that point. Yours will be wider than mine as your rear window is smaller.
I was going to order the military ones for my 51 f1,but I bought a pair of bucket seats out of a 2004 Chrysler sebring convertible with the seat belts already in them for $40 for the pair (it pays to know the right people) and they are in great shape & the will fit nicely in my 51,i have not had the chance to put them in yet when I do I will send pictures
I don't think it is a universal latch. I had longer receiver ends than what came with the set. When I tried them it was a tight fit the Humvee seems to be thicker than a standard latch. If you pull hard enough it comes out when released but not the way it should. My solution was to use a heavy chain to lengthen the receiver end. The only label on them is saying meets all SAE and auto safety regulations. They are suppose to be army surplus and seem very good. That being said it's a buyer beware society.
The HUMVEE belts are a steal, I bought one set and after I saw how nice they were I ordered two more sets. They come with a bunch of mounting hardware that you don't need but I will use the bolts and plates somewhere else. This is all MIL-SPEC stuff so there is no better quality even with the OEM car stuff. The retractors are a bonus!
