Automatic linkage ford

It's very sloppy ,Ive never taken a steer ING column apart but if bushing are worn would that be an answer.???
No column gear selector...I'm thinking (uh-oh)something broke or missing.
I can find the gear but....P R N D L but it's "sloppy"

Welcome to the forum Ford682016. I think we need a little more info: Year, model, engine, trans model (c4 or c6 ) What's sloppy steering or tranny? My mind reading skills and my xray vision are failing in my old age.

Where is it sloppy? In the shift lever socket (the part the shift lever goes in to), shift tube, or shift rod bushings?

That's something I noticed was shift rod from the steering column looked very loose ,comes out of steering column seems like no bushing just a cotter pin on the end, ,and I think someone has removed this steering wheel and missed some parts.

Look at lower right in picture. 1967/68 used a rubber bushing and insulator (C5TZ-7343-A) in the 7302 selector lever.

1969/72 used a nylon bushing (EOSZ-7341-B replaced C8OZ-7341-A & C9TZ-7341-A) that snapped into the 7302 selector arm.

C5TZ-7343-A .. Bushing & Insulator Kit / This kit comes with (2) bushings/insulators as it was also used with 3 M/T / Obsolete

Applications: 1965/66 F100/250 & 1967/68 F100/350 with A/T / 1965/72 F100/250 with 3 M/T

GREEN SALES CO. in Cincinnati OH has 10 = 800-543-4959.

CARPENTER NOS OBSOLETE PARTS in Concord NC has 4,415 = 800-476-8653.
