F 150 updates
I think I have read that a 10 speed transmission will be coming out to the
F 150's in the 2018 model year, but I cannot find any current info on this.
I also heard that the ecoboost 3.5 was going to be redesigned to mirror the 2.7.
Anyone have any current info on these changes?

No solid info at this time. With the exception that we know, through Ford, that he 2017 Raptor will have a newly engineered 3.5 EcoBoost (probably based on the 2.7) and a 10 speed auto. Whether or not these changes will be across the board for 2017 is to be determined. I'd say 2018 is a pretty safe bet.

Updates
The info is out now. 2017 F150's get the ten speed automatic as well as the second generation 3.5L EcoBoost w/ more power/torque and stop/start technology. It figures, right after I ordered my 2016! (I think I'll survive!).
