Engine Flush ??
How long is it safe to run a quart of Engine Flush/Tranny Fluid/Diesel fuel thru the engine ??
I know the can says 5 minutes, but realistically now.... How long ??
Also, what other Engine Flush methods have you guys done that worked good ??

Engine Flush ??
Every flush I've done on a high mileage engine has resulted in a smoking engine. We use Amsoil engine flush when we do them, but I cringe everytime I flush an engine with over 100k miles on it. You can probably run it for as long as you want, I just wouldn't put any load on the engine while it's running.

Watch what you put in your engine. I would never use an engine flush or diesel fuel. I would maybe use ATF but only about a litre. I asked some people about this before. Here's the link: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/s...hreadid=117856
