Alright guys so I've been battling this single code for the longest time now and it will not go away! I know for a fact that I do not have any leaking fuel injectors. I switched all of my bank one injectors over to my bank two to see if the code followed, but no luck. Please give me some suggestions! Thank you!

What did you to solve your problem. Vacuum is good, new plugs, new injectors, coil packs 6 months old. Bank one is rich still.
I believe I had that code for my 2003 F-150. It turned out to be a dirty mass air sensor. I have a cold air intake kit and I had just cleaned and reoiled the filter. Guess I used too much oil. I pulled the mass air control module, not the entire tube piece. There are two screws (might be special kind heads) holding it in place. I used some throttle body cleaner with a cotton swab. Spray the swab and gently clean the delicate sensor. Also, bought a new air filter.
I think the code error I was getting was "running too lean".
same code p0172. 2003 xlt. a few other codes as well, but i cannot remember what they were. cleaned the mass air flow sensor but nothing changed. So, we replaced it with one from the junkyard and 3 or 4 codes including p0172 went away. so MAF sensor is my bet. at least worth a try cleaning it.
