Probably another ride quality thread

As my Sig says, I have a 2011 F20 Lariat CC. I gotta say it rides worse than my 08 Dodge Ram 2500 and it rode like it was on steel wheels. I took it as normal until Saturday when I was given a 2011 F350 KR 6.7 for a few days to test drive. I was sure the F350 would ride much worse than my 250 but in fact it is car like in comparison to the 250. And the 350 has Micky Thompson off road tires on 20" rims and I have the Michelin AT2's on 18" rims on mine. Could it be that the tires are why mine rides like a tank or is it possible that my shocks (the original Rancho painted shocks) are the culprit? I am thinking about putting Tuff Country ADD A Leaf in the back to help with sag when I have the trailer hooked up and now I am thinking of maybe putting Bilstein shocks on it as well.

Any thoughts on this?

Thanks

We have 4 4WD F250 SD's at work. All cheapie low option XL's. Most similar on setup & year are a 2011 & 2013. I drive the 13 every day & it is just brutal. Like there is no suspension at all. It is actually painful to drive. The 11 is a little better, but not much. The difference between the two is the 13 has the snow plow prep package, with what I am guessing are much stiffer front springs. A front shock has blown out in the last week, so I am going to try & get them to change the front springs while they do the shocks.

I drove my buddies 12 F250 4WD XLT with the FX4 package last weekend, & there is a huge difference in the ride. Like night & day. Much better handling & riding.

All I can say Johnny is I feel your pain....
