Guessing i will just have to try it and see. The pic doesnt look like my original one. Read some where that a few after market ones are shorter and dont work correctly and i have already had a few scares where my abs did not work and my brakes did not work. Thanks

I wonder how you get the plastic out of there with out damaging the bore.

The Timken sensor and OEM sensor worked fine on both of mine, I even use grease like the others.

Motorcraft is OEM too.

Your bakes did not work? A bad ABS sensor will not cause your brakes to not work, it could cause the ABS system to not perform properly and allow for the brakes to lock up but it wouldn't cause loss of brakes.

I thought the same thing. My breaks would try to abs stop(on off on off) so it wouldnt lock up but it wouldnt allow the pressure to make it to the brakes to stop. I unpluged the sensor and its stops fine. Plug the sensor back up and it happens again and cant stop. Tried it 3 times and same result. So its u pluged right now. Almost wrecked into on coming traffic at a light.

I just did these, well actually DzlDenny did this exact repair, along with calipers, rotors and pads, and it took a lot of patience to get the plastic ring out. We went to Autozone and got the ABS sensor for the drivers side and I have not had any issues since. Thanks Denny!!!

That was about a month ago I believe. If the Autozone ABS sensor fails in short order, I'll definitely be on here to let everyone know. My sensor was broke almost exactly like yours and I simply had brakes, not anti-lock, along with warped rotors, good times (drinks with lids only).

$72 or so. Needle nose pliers, working it back and forth until it wiggled its way out.
