Transmission problem
Got about a little over 200,000 miles on it. So I was driving going about 55 on cruse. Then I went to slow down cause I caught up to traffic and when I went accelerate again I got nothing couldn't go over 10 mph and the rpms were tacking out when I finally got home I tried to put in in reverse and nothing. It will go in drive but won't get past 1st gear. I have no idea where to start. A word of advice would be greatly appreciated

It will go into 1/2 and will get up to about 20mph then I'll drop it in D and it won't shift past that. Do you think there could be a bad sensor that's not registering?

I hate to say it, but doubt it's a bad sensor. It could possibly be the solenoid pack, but you are most likely looking at a full rebuild. Check your fluid level. I would start planning for a new one. These only have a life of about 200k depending on how they have been treated.
