Need Help! Please...

I have my 2000 F350 with engine problems.
Sometime I can't find the problem!
When it starts I hear a sound that sounds like metal and I can't stop the start cycle with upper turns.
On one day, I put the key in the door and the engine made a pop sound.
Funny, can't find any damage.
When I am on the highway, it makes a left turn with the right turn signal!
Help?

No, really, I don't understand, kehale...really...not joking. You said when you put the key in the door the engine made a pop sound and I went to check my water jug to make sure no one slipped me a Mickey.

I think Kehale is making fun of others. At least I hope he is. He's always made sense in the past.

kehale, sounds like your exhaust starter motor is the problem... common with your year superduty. i hear that if you pour ice water in the bed of your truck the sound will stop.... this is obviously a temp fix as you will have to grease the belt in your cat convertor to really solve the problem.

Have you checked the blinker fluid reservoir? Back pressure from the blinker overflow might cause such issues. Try pouring in a pint of whatever you're drinking to clean the sensors & report back!

Well, well, well! And I was thinking that I had lost my mind! I was having a bad day yesterday, real bad. Had to get on-line here to clear my head. Then I came to your post, read it, re-read, read it again and pushed back from the computer, scratching my head. Really thought it was me! Then the other posts came in and I began to feel a little better. But, kehale, I went home yesterday thinking, "Man! O'l kehale has just had one of those days when he just couldn't take it with his truck anymore and has flew the coop! Poor fella!" Now, this! Oughta be ashamed of yourself!

Gonna keep my eye on ya' for awhile, though...just in case.

Kehale,
I've experienced this in the past.....what you need to do is diconect the garden house/heater that runs from your cab to the exhaust pipe. Once things start looking and sounding clearer go ahead and repost.
