Flasher compatability plus a couple quick questions!

Good Evening FTE!

Got a couple quick questions....see pics.

Is the red connector for the seat belt buzzer?

What plugs into the 2 spade black connecter at the headlight group?

And lastly are BOTH tin cans flashers? Is one just bigger cause it different brand? And can these heavy duty black flashers plug in place of them?

THANKS

Does the seat belt buzzer plug into the red one?

Are these both flashers?

Can these replace both tin ones?

What plugs into the Grn/blk wht/blk connector? I know the others

small flasher emergency flasher light duty, large flasher turn signal heavy duty use with trailer so flasher doesnt flick on /off super fast , green white/ black i believe brake light switch on brake pedal, red plug i think your right seat belt warning light/buzzer,black flasher unit dont know never used them but due to design you may not hear the dink/dink like the tin can ones do when in use

The 4 way emergency flasher is a heavy duty unit, has a louder CLICK than the T/S flasher, that is a light duty unit.

The 4 way flasher can be subbed for the T/S flasher, as it was with trailer tow, camper specials and...it was also installed by dealers for people that are deaf.

But, you cannot use the light duty T/S flasher in lieu of the 4 way flasher.

Parts catalog pic: D1FZ-13350-A is the heavy duty 4 way & T/S flasher (some applications) / C5AZ-13350-B is the light duty T/S flasher.

if its over with headlight switch { is it looks like big on headlight plug?} it may be parking brake warning pigtail. that also looks like the ground behind instrument cluster is it? i dont know what year it is off of but my 78 foglight switch in that area maybe for that what i remember is that it unplugs from harness there. i will have to look when home and try to see it at work now

Note: Just after posting, I removed the pic you made mention of and substituted another that shows the correct positions of the T/S & 4 way flashers.

But looking at it i dont think my emergency flasher will reach the inboard side of the cluster area? im oretty sure the ER connection is way over on the left side grouped with the door jamb switch, seat belt buzzer etc.....mines a 1978. No biggie ill check it out tonight!

Dont waste anymore time on this!!!! Appreciate all your insight.
