Okay, I need to measure my lifter preload but I don't have the tool to bleed the lifter down.
I searched the net and the forum with no luck. The only thing I found was the mention of the bleed down tool, but no mention of where to find one. I only found one place that sells it online (forget trying to get it locally) but it cost $100. Is that what you guys paid for yours?
If I can't find one cheaper (alot cheaper) I'll just follow Cranes instructions on how to measure the preload. It just doesn't seem very accurate.
P.S. The only auto stores I have locally do not rent any tools out, therefore they don't stock many.
