6.0 died

A couple months back I blew an EGR cooler.my mechanic replaced it and oil cooler ,when I got the truck back it was useing coolant and on cold days below 35 degrees it wont start without a little shot of ether.I took it back and mechanic found a pinched o ring. The coolant problem is ok but cold starts not.now today truck was running fine then as I was pulling out of a stop sign I couldnt get over 40 mph,i pulled over and then tried to go but no throttle response, then died and wouldnt restart.I have no way of scanning,no dash lights came on.I am wondering if this is related another o ring or gasket, hpop ,fuel problem??? just replaced all the injectors and ficm a little over a year ago.where should I start k
looking HELP!!!!!!!

Ok today after work I go out to tyr and figure this out. After a bit of cranking it did start but idled at less then 500 rpm then slowly lowered and finaly shut off.i took out top fuel filter and turned key to on and housing filled with fuel, checked ficm voltage with key on 48.8 volts while cranking and low idle the same so I think I eliminated at least the ficm. Also at the low RPM there is no throttle response push it to the floor and nothing.I'm stopping tomorrow and pick up a scanner to see what codes I have, again no dash lights.you have to love these things.......

You really need something to read live data such as torque pro or dash boss app and obdii adapter. Codes will only get you so far. The apps and adapter are cheaper then a code scanner and they can read codes too.

The apps are for your phone or tablet. You need the obdii adapter to send the vehicle data to the phone or tablet and be viewed via the app. The adapter ypu can get from amazon. Scan gauge is good too and i have torque pro and scangauge both. I use the torque app for trouble shooting and data logging and the scangauge for daily driving when all is well.

I think you ruled out fuel pressure too quick, or didn't check it. I had a crushed upper fuel filter that gave me fits till I figured it out (with A LOT of help from Rusty)Fuel bowl filled fine.
How did you figure it was the HPOP?
