I am trying to setup my Weight Distribution Bars the way the F250 manual indicates. It recommends hooking up TT and measure wheel wells height without bars then hookup bars and measure again. Then it says setup to cut the distance in half. Well I done that and if I am not wrong the bars increased the front wheel well height when I had bars hooked up vs when I only hooked up trailer.
I need suggestions on where to start making adjustments do I need to allow more slack in chains or tighten down on the chains?
What does adjusting ball angle do for set up?
How can I get front of truck so not as much sagging in rear?
Tilt the ball down, if the bars are above level when you chain up, that is if you are in need of more chain tension, but the bars are all the way up. When you start with the bars tilted down lower, you have more room to chain up, if you need it.
Try setting it up so when you are chained the height at the front wheel wells is the same or slightly below what it was before you have the trailer chained up.
I don't see how you can chain up and raise the front of your truck.

So when I tilt the ball down do you mean pull it away from the truck and back?
