Hello everybody, I plan on doing an oil change on my truck I just purchased


a few weeks ago, but im not sure which oil to use or how much to use with


the 308 engine. I would guess around 5or 6 quarts since I read thats what


engines usually get, but I just wanted to ask to see what your insights


would be. and do I need to change the oil filter out every time I do an oil


change? thank you

 

Ford put either a 223 six or 292 V8 at the factory, you need to find out what brand of engine the 308 is and get spec's for it.
