I need to move a junction box about 8 feet and hang a chandelier over a dining table. It's in an older home with no attic and I need to pull a couple new wires.
I remember seeing a stud finder that claims to detect live AC wires through drywall and was wondering if a tool like this could be used to locate wires running through floor joists behind 1-2 sheets of drywall and which one would be best for that task.
