I have a '94 Ranger 2.3 4Banger and I don't want to spend a dime on it. It's a great little truck and I am looking on doing a homemade intake mod with 2.5" PVC or and a K/N cone filter.
I was wondering if anyone has done this mod or something similiar on a '94 and if they had pics that would be great.
I was gonna do the same thing, talked with a performance shop however and they told me that the PVC causes problems over time. Seems the engine compartment heat cuases the PVC to start to bleed off some of its components and they then begine to build up in the intake.
I dont know for sure, but by the time you find the stuff to make one out of and the cost of all the materials you can buy one.
I cant remember if yours is a 4 cycl but I think the honda civic ones will work and they are relatively inexpensive.
