HI Everyone, new to the forum have heard great things I hope someone can help me or point in the right direction thanks in advance for any help.
well here I go, I am at loss I have a 2002 ford f-250 7.3 edge juice with attitude, stock intake, 5" turbo back straight pipe mpbr exhaust.
When cold runs great, as soon as she warms up CEL comes on and acts like its running on half the cylinders, and only when warm if I plug it in at night start it up in the morning CEL comes on right away and rough idle barely gets down the street, have to let it completely cool down before I can start it and she runs just fine till warms up, I have done the UVCH .50 trick checked all wires while in there and re torqued rocker arms and injectors, new ICP, new HPOP, new IPR, new MAP sensor, new fuel filter, changed oil, checked oil level, checked HPOP resivoir oil level, and topped off coolant, finally found a guy with a scanner and showed #8 injector was bad, replaced #8 injector and today ran great to work, cooled off ran great to lunch, cooled off went to my sons practice ran great all the way there, went to leave there truck still warm fired up rough idle and CEL came on right away limped it home and parked it, now im here I don't no what else it could be ive searched and searched and thrown everything I have read at this thing and its still doing the same thing when warm falls on its a$$.

sounds like a valve cover harness to me too, but a snap on solus will tell you exactly whats wrong.
you cant just throw parts at a powerstroke.
when was the last oil change?
when was the last fuel filter change?

idioit thanks, I have checked UVCH last oil change was about 10 miles/2 weeks ago, did a fuel filter last night
I did notice today at work I let it run at about 2000 rpms until the CEL came on and it ran rough I just left it thinking maybe I was getting a air bubble when hot and about after 15 minutes of 2000 rpms the CEL went off and truck would rev and sounded great again went to test drive so I could put a load on it and as soon as I backed up about 10 feet put it drive went maybe 2 feet CEL came back on and rough running again, pulled back into parking spot and let sit the rest of the day got off work startet headed home ran great and as soon as the needle moved off cold CEL on and limped it home

Get a scan tool and see what your IPR and ICP info is, may have a hydraulic leak or something. You could also rebuild your IPR ($20 for seals), or get a new one, my truck has trouble starting when hot, trying to fix that issue currently.
Well thanks for all the help, when the truck first acted up I did the .50 cent trick to the UVCH and it didn't work after throwing everything at it and finally posting here and hearing back from the first 2 guys I decided to recheck the UVCH I got the truck hot it failed CEL came on I unplugged the UVCH at the vale cover and nothing changed ran down to the local parts store and picked one up for the driver side for 76 bucks, just finished the install and drove the truck farther than it has been drivin in 6 months actually got up to temp ran threw all programmer settings no CEL,
