No Heat

I've replaced the thermostat and the heater core, but I cant get my truck heater to throw out decent heat. Any idea's on what else could be wrong ?

Is the blend door working properly? I know they used to be pretty bad about broken cables. Maybe the door isnt opening properly or is broken itself. Are the hoses hot going in and out at the firewall?

I have a 79 bronco, any time i touch the cooling system i lose heat. I switch the hoses on the heater core, that back fills any air pockets. works for mine.

If both hoses are good and hot then it must be a blend door problem. Access the area where the linkage to the blend door is and see if the cable is moving it fully both directions.
